I've been asked by Social Services to treat a young woman for eating control. The prospective patient has Down's Syndrome.
I have never attempted to hypnotize anyone with Down's Syndrome and have not been able to find any research material on the subject.
Has anyone here ever hypnotised anyone with Down's?

I'm drawing a blank I'm afraid. The only historic info I can find are references which say it can be difficult for someone with Down's syndrome to learn to enter a hypnotic state.
GarethI'll keep looking and see if I can uncover any research or info as my own experience doesn't cover this area.
